When I was 22 years old I was painting houses and hanging wallpaper. I had been helping a friend with roofing repairs part-time and learning the roofing industry form the ground up.  In 1984 I made the decision to establish San Antonio Roofing Company and provide roofing services to customers in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. On my first day I had some door hangers and decided to walk my neighborhood to distribute the door hangers.  After about 20 houses I came across an elderly gentleman watering his yard. He asked me what I had there and I explained my new business venture. He explained he and his wife had just been discussing their need for a new roof. He asked when I could return for an estimate. I explained I would be back after finishing the door hangers. I finished and returned to his home with my truck, ladder and shingle samples for their selection. That evening I sold the couple my first roofing job and 4 days later they had a new roof with a Lifetime Labor Warranty.

 

That week in January of 1984 San Antonio Roofing Company was born and began fulltime operations. Today, we still offer the Lifetime Labor Warranty.

Growing up in San Antonio and attending Robert E. Lee High School proved to be beneficial for our success. My father was an (Architect) and Mother (Interior Designer) with many years of relationships throughout the building industry which lead to introductions to many successful people in San Antonio throughout the 40 + years of our existence.
